I started with Affiliated Customer Service, Inc. in April of 1998 at the age of 19 with an entry level position of Assistant Inspection Technician. I started to volunteer my time to help the Service Technicians whenever I could and tried to soak up whatever knowledge I could from the extremely experienced Service Technicians on staff. After about a year I became a Lead Inspection Technician. During my time as a Lead Inspector I performed many Fire Alarm Inspections at several different locations in the Chicago land Area on a regular basis. I began to be relied upon by my Supervisors to inspect major accounts such as Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Later down the road I became a Service Technician/Inspection Supervisor. I performed service and installations of Fire Alarm Equipment as well as helped the Inspections department in training the Inspectors on proper inspection techniques and miscellaneous fire alarm equipment. The knowledge I gained as an Inspector was extremely helpful, considering I had been in most of the accounts we serviced performing inspections. As a Service Technician, on occasion I would receive calls from a Senior Service Technician on staff asking me for information on certain locations. They were there to help me and I was able to sometimes return the favor. This made me feel very good. After putting in some time as a Service Technician I was promoted to a Senior Service Technician and later onto Project Manager. I managed several projects during this time such as Lutheran General Hospital New Bed Tower. Shortly after the project was over I was promoted to Director of Operations. After putting in my time managing projects and employees I decided I want to help ACSI procure new major projects and preventive maintenance customers by offering the customer the knowledge that I had gained from The Fire Alarm Industry. My only goal is to make sure our customers and future customers get the attention, support, and products they deserve.Specialties: Inspecting, troubleshooting, installing, programming and certifying Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Evacuation Systems and Mass Notification Systems.
