I have always been intrigued by the idea of creating software applications, but did not know it was something I truly loved doing until I took a random python course online. I was immediately hooked, so after over 8 years of dedicated work in the Calibration industry, both in the Marine Corps and the civilian sector, I decided to tackle a new challenge and become a Software Engineer. After receiving my degree in Computer Science, I now work as a Software Engineer developing for Netsuite. This has provided me a unique perspective on the world of development, as I have been both an end user, as well as a developer for a system that is used by several hundred employees at my company.I am a creative problem solver who finds joy in discovering solutions to interesting challenges. In fact I would say diagnosing and remedying an issue is my greatest strength and a skill that has transcended multiple industries in my career thus far.
