My role is to manage the Business Doncaster Economic Development service area within Doncaster Council with responsibility for attracting new inward investment into Doncaster, helping existing Doncaster businesses grow, destination marketing and tourism including Doncaster Town Centre, Employment and Enterprise initiatives and promoting and being a proud Doncaster AmbassadorPrior to working in the field of Economic Development, Inward Investment and Business Support with Business Doncaster, Invest in Doncaster and Renaissance South Yorkshire I spent 18 years in the Engineering sector working in Purchasing and Supply Chain management. My last nine years was spent as Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager for Koyo Bearings (Europe) Ltd, a large Japanese Inward Investor based in Barnsley. Born and bred in Rotherham I have lived and worked throughout South Yorkshire. Away from work I fill my time with family commitments with weekends spent supporting Doncaster Rugby League Club (The Dons) and the occasional diversion of a trip to support Rotherham United.I am also a proud resident of Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura and host the Hablamos Fuerteventura podcast https://hablamosfuerteventura.buzzsprout.com
