The Development Policy Centre is one of Australia's leading think tanks for aid and development. It specialises in independent research and promoting practical initiatives to improve the effectiveness of Australian aid and development policies in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Island region.As a Policy Research Intern under the Australian National Internship Program, I was tasked with writing a four thousand word research paper. I engaged in quantitative research looking at the perceptions of Australian NGOs towards localisation. My research found that all NGOs talked about working with local partners, however, only half talked about localisation, while only two engaged in direct cash transfers.As an intern I was also involved in Devpol's Weekly Migration Newsletter, I research relevant news articles and helped to write up the Centre's weekly newsletter. I was also involved in the planning and facilitation of the Development Policy Forum. The Forum served as a gathering point for development-related stakeholders in the public, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors.

Assisted the International Engagement Department (IED) in establishing and maintaining vital G2G relationships across key regions.Supported the ASEAN desk in the lead up to several international forums, and working visits by WIPO officials and senior country government officials through desktop research, administration and logistics preparations.Researched and presented on an 80-page research paper profiling and comparing 14 Intellectual Property Academies around the world, including within Southeast Asia. Facilitated discussions and provided recommendations on how Singapore can remain relevant and engaged in the IP Academy discussion, and how Singapore can further cement itself in ASEAN as an IP/IA hub.

Supported the development of a core team of Camp Infrastructure Operations personnel along side battalion and platoon level commanders in order to facilitate infrastructure maintenance in Sungei Gedong Camp and Nee Soon Camp.Was Vehicle Commander during Basic Military Training School Five Passing Out Parade 2019. Took part in Singapore Armed Forces COVID-19 Response exercises, such as the packing of masks for the public and providing safe distancing equipment and guidelines for Sungei Gedong Camp.
