In 2009 this represented £40m or 75% of the total After Sales business.• Business plans and budgets to maximise market share through the product lifecycle.• Development, implementation and review of all Parts Marketing, Sales and Pricing programmes.• Cost down programmes including purchase cost measurement and reduction.• Managed a marketing budget of £150k, a team of 3 direct reports and a matrix team of 10 stakeholders. Key Achievements• Cross-functional collaboration with the Regional teams, Dealers and Internal staff to help ensure the smooth implementation of a daily stock order service into the UK and European markets, improving both dealer and customer satisfaction. This project also introduced a price policy that reflected delivery lead-times into dealer which, in turn, delivered more efficient working practices in the warehouse and also a 4.5% revenue increase.• As part of a cross-functional team, including Supply and Regional staff, ensured the local supply of key product groups into the US market. Through the reduction of freight and purchase costs this programme now delivers circa $150k incremental annual revenue.• Negotiated the contract for the local supply of tyres into the US market, balancing Customer, Regional and Central staff stakeholder requirements. This programme delivers an incremental $120k annual profit.• Working closely with warehouse staff and UK and US customs, successfully reduced the freight bill for hazardous materials by an estimated £300k per annum.• Introduced a weekly forum for the systematic review of purchase decisions. This meeting still continues and is attended by all internal stakeholders from the Commercial and Operational teams. In 2009 the action points agreed at this meeting delivered a net benefit of £250k.
