I have had a very successful media career for over 35 years utilising my love of data analysis with my creative skillset and producing numerous award winning campaigns. I am now seeking a new challenge that will enable me to use this unique and diverse range of skills to great effect.In the early years of my career I was able to use my passion for data and apply it to the various research roles I had moving from Assistant to Director in 12 years. I worked with many departments which made the roles very exciting and challenging each day. What it gave me was a full understanding of the business I worked for and a clear vision of what I wanted to do for the rest of my career.During this time I created, managed and organised a media 6-a-side football league (which featured the legendary Daley Thompson whilst he was still representing GB at the Olympics), golf tournaments around the UK and Europe and I ran the London Marathon.In the early noughties with the arrival of my children I wanted to switch career path and move into my other passion area - Marketing. I also wanted to go as high as possible in this field and realised I needed patience, hard work and commitment to do this. As a result I have had long careers at Viacom and A+E Television Networks working my way up in both organisations to Director/VP level. I have combined my analytical ability with my creative skills and created a unique profile for myself delivering award winning activity with a strong ROI.I am particularly proud of winning Best Channel Marketing and Channel of the Year in the same year for Paramount Comedy at the BDA's where we were up against bigger brands with much bigger budgets. For winning Best Specialist Channel for Crime+Investigation, the first time a dedicated crime channel had received such an accolade. For creating a stand out marketing campaign for Sky History's Al Murray Why Does Everyone Hate The English series and as a result helping the show win Gamechanger Programme of the Year.In addition to the awards I have had the privilege of launching many brands into markets with budgets ranging from £100k to over £2m. These include Comedy Central in the UK, Lifetime in the UK and South Africa, and Blaze in the UK. I have managed many campaigns and brands across a number of EMEA territories including Poland, The Netherlands, Sweden, South Africa and Romania. Its been a lot of fun and I have enjoyed every minute. Onto the next chapter.
