I'm a graduate development engineer, working to improve efficiency in high pressure diesel fuel pumps at PHINIA (Formerly BorgWarner) in Gillingham. I hold a Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University, including an industrial placement year at Vaillant boilers, and have experience of customer service, having worked on checkouts at the Co-Operative during my A-levels.One of my biggest passions is motorsport, and was involved in Formula Student during my time at university, from 1st year through to the end of my degree. From this I gained knowledge of design processes, manufacturing operations (including carbon fibre lay-up), and running a racing car at international competitions. Event highlights included 4th place at FS UK in 2019, respectable showings at events in Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic, and being a key contributor to the team passing the FS Germany entry quiz on two occasions.I'm also a keen amateur racing driver, having held a Motorsport UK race license since 2018. For 2024 I will be moving from the Club100 karting championship to compete in the HSA Speed Championship, held at hillclimb and sprint venues across the UK. For 3 years, I was a member of the karting club at university and competed for Loughborough in the British Universities Karting Championship. In my final year I also took on the role of treasurer, managing the club budget and dealing with venue hire, university processes and club membership.
