As a Shareholder at Schenck, I provided audit, accounting and business consulting services to clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, consumer products, telecommunications, trucking and logistics. I specialized in providing financial statement audit and assurance services to privately held companies. I served on Schenck’s Board of Directors and was the Director of Services overseeing the assurance, accounting, tax and consulting services that were provided to Schenck’s clients. As a leader of the firm’s assurance practice, I was responsible for audit execution, staff training, strategic direction, and business development, and identified specialty audit services that benefited the firm’s clients. The specialty audit services that I strategically led include SOC reviews (formerly SAS 70), internal audits, internal control reviews (both IT and financial controls), risk assessments and more. I served as a firm-wide advisor on complex audit and accounting matters.Prior to joining CLA, Schenck was one of the 50 largest CPA firms in the country with ten offices and more than 600 employees.
