The Finance Development Program is a two year, rotational program in which I will be challenged in multiple areas of business analytics. The FDP consists of four, six-month rotations in which I will be taught both financial analytics as well as essential business skills in a mix of unique rolls.1st Role - Sales Special Pricing and AnalyticsMy function as a finance special pricing analyst was to work on a case by case basis with sales reps and help them maximize the profitability of their quotes to customers. This included discussing the optimum product from the portfolio that we were offering in these quotes, while balancing revenue and margin profitability to excel the business forward and bring a full, affordable solution to our customers. This role taught me the importance of building relationships as a trusted and knowledgeable business partner for those I supported. 2nd Role - Global Operations: Graphics and Communications Commodity OwnershipThis function was a P&L ownership finance controller-ship role in which I acted as the bridge between accounting and operations for the finance ownership of the graphics and communications inventory. Communication and accurate tracking of cost metrics were very important in making future business decisions.3rd Role - Investor RelationsThis was a fast paced, communication based role in a time where the Dell EMC ecosystem was making heavy changes in the headline news with key announcements. This was a very unique experience as I got to witness the strategic aspect of the Finance org. I also learned how the company positions itself in the eyes of the public and how to craft rhetoric that is released to mainstream media. 4th Role - ISG Commercial Sales Strategy and OperationsThis role allowed me to return my focus to the sales organization. A cornerstone of this role was getting the opportunity to create an annual operations plan for a business that was presented to finance and sales leadership.

• Provide counsel to students on career planning initiatives, resumes and job interviews. Assist in the planning and management of student meetings with counselors.

• BSM Major Ambassadors are junior and senior business students selected to work directly with freshmen and sophomores who are trying to decide on a major within the business school. • Allows the student ambassador to become a source of knowledge and experience for prospective or currently enrolled freshman and sophomore business students.• Conducted calls and held one on one meetings with prospective students in order to recruit them for the incoming year at Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.

• Participated in the analyses of clients’ financial needs and created client presentations based on solutions using Prudential’s financial and insurance products. • Designed a user interface for new recruiting software for the southeast region, as well as organized and staffed the Atlanta recruiting fair for the financial services division.• Created a policy manual for use by new hires/interns to assist with rapid firm integration.

• Conducted portfolio analysis for clients, analyzing key factors such as investment vehicles, risk appetite and diversification of assets. Participated in the creation of investment portfolios and strategies to preserve capital and generate returns in line with the clients’ investment horizons.• Worked with the firm’s brokers on client investment strategies and attended client meetings to explain the proposed portfolios.

Intern in the 2011 "Volunteen Internship Program". Work weekly with patients, their families, physicians and other medical staff to provide hands on patient care and administrative services.
