After creating and managing the blog Burnpoetry, and spending several years working with No Coast Bias, I decided to try my hand again at running my own sports/pop culture site, "What the Husk?!?". While 'What the Husk' primarily focuses on my first love, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, it's full of too many wild ideas to stick to one subject. Ranging from fake screenplays, to political commentary, to out-and-out satire, WTH is all about having something to say and doing it in a way that hasn't been done before.

As a senior writer and content manager for the sports and pop culture website, No Coast Bias, I was routinely tasked with creating short, humorous pieces, on a variety of sports topics as well as creating long columns detailing life as a fan. I routinely created high-volume posts that brought in readers and also readily promoted the site both on the radio and throughout social media.As content manager, my duties include: driving discussions centered around our sports topics in our online discussions. Offering up story ideas and generalized advice to any current writers and helping manage the style, amount, and creativity of content on the site.
