I am a partner in the Litigation Practice Group at Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, a mid-sized law firm based in Chicago, Illinois. I base my practice primarily on real-estate risk-management and disputes involving large and middle-market clients including developers, owners, and managers of commercial office, retail, and mixed-used properties. I also focus on real-estate litigation that involves developer liability, landlord/tenant workouts, commercial foreclosures, note sales, and representing homeowners and condominium associations. My practice also deals with trusts-and-estate litigation, including trust disputes, probate and guardianship litigation, and corporate-fiduciary claims. I have successfully tried cases to verdict and have arbitrated a number of matters before the American Arbitration Association and various other self-regulatory agencies. I also have significant experience litigating temporary restraining orders, preliminary and permanent injunctions, and other equitable-relief cases that require creative solutions and the ability to think “out of the box.”
