I have a wide background in engineering, product innovation & management, technology implementation and commissioning. Particularly with Near Infra-Red technologies and sugarcane handling/processing equipment. I'm particularly interested in leadership, cross functional team management and remote area challenges. I enjoy working with everyone in my network and love the innovative and creative ideas that emerge when solving problems, or developing improvements and new solutions.I have a developed background in cross functional and cross cultural team leadership and membership practiced in more than 25 countries in Asia, Africa and the America's.I have a particular experience in Near Infra-red (NIR) technology application, calibration development and modelling, implementation and commissioning and provide advice in best use of the technology within business and technology environments, and policy development.I have implemented NIR technology in over 70 sugar factories in over 20 countries for a wide range of applications.I led a team developing NIR technology for automated "wine in the bottle" analysis when corks and closures are replaced. This ensures all recorked wine is of high quality after storage.
