Chris has specialised in the management and implementation of multiple expense category projects with medium to large sized New Zealand corporations. He has an interest in business acquisition and is enthusiastic about delivering projects that provide a material impact on the profitability of Clients.For Chris the attraction of Expense Reduction Analysts is all about working with a team of business specialists and using his business skills and experience to deliver great Client results.Chris joined Expense Reduction Analysts in March 1997 initially on a part time basis and then commenced full time in July 2001.

In this role Chris was responsible for the retention and growth of existing business and the pursuit of new business opportunities in the Information Technology market place. Chris enjoyed a successful sales history and was specifically focused on initiating, negotiating and ensuring the successful delivery of major systems integration projects which typically involved a complex mix of application software, systems software, hardware infrastructure and various supporting services.

This position included the overall supervision of accounting functions and the responsibility for business systems planning and development. Chris was responsible for the discharge of all of the statutory obligations of the company including preparation of Board papers and attendance at Board meetings.

Chris commenced work with the Group as an accountant working in one of the subsidiary companies and was then promoted to Group Chief Accountant. During the latter part of his employment with the group, Chris filled a multifunctional role researching, purchasing and supervising the installation of new IT systems, which included the standardisation and implementation of group reporting. Chris also became involved from the financial and secretarial perspective in the purchase of other companies and the investigation and establishment of new projects and companies, some of which were associates with multinational partners.

During the period prior to 1981 Chris undertook various chartered accountancy roles. By 1975 Chris had completed the Society of Accountants (Now Chartered Accountants Australia + New Zealand) professional examinations and in 1976 Chris left on a comprehensive World trip. Following three years of travelling and working in Europe, Chris returned to New Zealand in 1979 continuing in chartered accountancy roles until September 1981.
