I have been a Solicitor since 1994. I ran my own Solicitors' Practice for some 10 years. I was a director in a Solicitors' firm in the Beverley/ Bridlington area for last 5 years. I spent many years as a charity trustee in the past, and I am member of Solicitors For the Elderly and principally deal with wills, probate, powers of attorney and related matters..I recently joined James Legal to run their private client department.I like the fact that James Legal is particularly concerned to make sure that our basis of charging for any legal work carried out is clear and transparent, which is not always the case with other law firms.I enjoy(?) challenges. I have an unfortunate habit of committing myself to do something challenging and then having to follow through. In addition to other things, I completed the London Marathon in 2014 and the Hull Marathon in 2015. In June of this year I completed the Transpenine cycle trail from Southport on the Irish sea to Hornsea on the East Coast. This was as a practice run for the Lands End to John O' Groats cycle trip which I am attempting with my eldest son in August, We are doing this cycle ride for charity.Hopefully I will have learned my lesson after that.
