While working for the YMCA of Orange County, in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education and the North American Scholastic Esports Federation, I have taken on the various roles necessary to build an esports program that integrates well with the brand and history of the organization. With the desire to meet students where they are at, I worked hard to connect learning and play, driving education and interest-based learning through competition in esports. This role included Program Design & Development, Marketing & Branding, and Operations:Program Design & Development: •Design and propose budgeted plans for Esports to foster culture and infrastructure, and directly build the teen demographic within the organization. •Proactively build partnerships with OCDE and the North American Esport Federation and collaborate with each to design state certified curriculum. •Implement and advance a new esport program across 32 schools with outlined plans for future growth. Marketing & Branding:•Work closely with Marketing to design a unique esports brand for the YMCA, including a website, logos, T-shirts, tangible marketing documents, Trophy designs, and much more. •Building esport culture, club cultivation, and community through education and research. •Networking and aligning with partnering companies who share similar values and ambitionsOperations:•Having a clear vision and well-defined goals for the esport department•Equip and train staff, as well as host seminars for the inaugural season, while also managing over 30 after-school elementary and middle-school sites.•Provide supervision for Esport staff including coaching, tech support, program implementation, tournament organization, and open-house events. •Actively collect and analyze feedback to improve program and curriculum.

While working at Risen Nation, I was one of the initial members of the Church who helped to bring the vision and ministry into fruition. My responsibilities included administration, networking, event management, and pastoral teaching: •Scheduled and coordinated monthly events, outreach activities, home groups, security, ushering, and hospitality for visiting pastors. •Managed weekly schedules while also coordinating appointments and travel arrangements. •Increased and managed church social media presence and communications.•Regularly facilitated sermons, church services and youth group bible studies on a weekly basis.
