Elected to a four-year term on the Kinston City Council responsible for leading the city’s municipal government that provides services and community support for the City’s nearly 20,000 residents. Accomplishments have included the hiring of a permanent City Manager, spearheading a design process and securing $1 million in funding for the renovation of a historic park, and developing proposals for the City Council to fund projects that address affordable housing, food insecurity, and community development in East Kinston.
