About Chris Klink
I am a problem solver and neuroscientist with a broad interest in the mechanisms of complex systems. Currently investigating how the brain gives rise to perception and behaviour and what we can do to improve these processes when they malfunction. I design, plan and perform research projects; organize, maintain and analyze large data-sets; manage projects; collaborate with national and international partners; consult policy-makers; teach; and engage in science communication.I'm a long-time team member of the 'Art of Neuroscience' organisation that aims to open up the beauty of the brain to a broad audience. As an open science advocate my analysis pipelines (shell, pyhton, matlab) are freely available on GiitHub and I was an initiator of the PRIME-RE platform (https://prime-re.github.io), a website to facilitate open and collaborative translational neuroimaging.---Skills: Neuroimaging, fMRI, neurophysiology, brain stimulation, behaviour, vision, computational models, experimental design, data analysis, programming, scientific writing, policy-making, project management, teaching and student supervision, science communication.
