• I am responsible for creation and rollout of all American Dynamics training courses. Courseware includes traditional classroom (PDF and PowerPoint), interactive elearning lessons and video demonstrations. This involves constant liaison with software engineering, QA, and many other departments across the organisation to ensure the materials meet requirements. • Often I am required to assist as an SME in the production and rollout of courseware for other Tyco Security Products brands and products. • I designed, led and implemented an online video portal (http://learn.tycosecurityproducts.com) for the organisation. I drove this project from conception to completion, managing global teams to ensure content was produced in time for launch at a large industry trade show. This project required significant liaison with Director, VP and ‘C’ level representatives. • Supporting presales in identifying customer training needs during project scope. Following identification, bespoke courseware is designed and rolled out. Customers range from small to enterprise level installations. • Training for Sales teams worldwide. This takes the form of Technical Training and Sales (feature/benefit, value add) training on American Dynamics products.

This position enabled me to further develop my technical writing skills and progress into training both end users and internal trainers/integrators. On a daily basis I produce a wide range of documentation including online help, user guides, technical bulletins, application notes, training materials and release notes. I was also responsible for creating and rolling out e-learning lessons globally. I prepare materials for and deliver training classes across Europe, the US and the Asia-Pacific regions, both in person in a classroom environment and remotely in the form of webinars. Technical skills include the Adobe Technical Communication Suite (Framemaker, Robohelp, Captivate, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro), Adobe Dreamweaver, Madcap Flare, MS Office, Windows, Linux and SQL Server as well as a strong technical underpinning.
