People Operations Coordinator
Current• Serve as the primary point of contact for over 600 employees across the US and Canada for inquiries relating to HR policies, procedures, and employee relations, while concurrently supporting the Benefits Administrator in coordinating and optimizing US and Canada benefits questions, leave of absence requests, and broker engagements.• Lead onboarding initiatives for the US and Canada, and additionally serve as the backup point of contact for the UK and Australia team, in fulfilling new hire documentation, scheduling, I-9 compliance, background verifications, first week check-in recaps with the respective new hire’s manager, and creating a positive experience for new employees.• Create and maintain new hire information, as well as update business titles, manager changes, compensation, leave of absences, and compliance training in the Dayforce HRIS system.• Lead bespoke ad-hoc projects and requests, such as delivering a short presentation on the Genetic Information Act to the HR department, and migrating hard copied employee paperwork onto the online iWork management system.• Manage accounts payables for service providers and execute up to $1.2 million in US and Canada benefits invoice payments annually.
