I used to be Web Specialist focused on supporting marginalized small business owners and first generation students. Now I work in EdTech for a cool company helping substitute teachers. I listed my fav work experiences below though:Results1️⃣ I created a first generation student resource site, the College Lighthouse with the Wordpress CMS. I've researched, written, and edited 20 posts and produced 8 videos. Using Ahrefs keyword research tool, 4 Posts currently rank on page 1 for their targeted keywords, generating 12000+ monthly organic visits. 2️⃣ Currently finishing a 4 part Video Series following the Post-Grad College Experience of four first gen college grads for The College Lighthouse. Coming out Feb. 2022.3️⃣ Freelancing in San Diego, I created and rebranded 6 websites in San Diego for military veterans, small businesses, and translated the value of online services to both English and Spanish speakers. Two of the websites, Heartland Cleaners and BSE Security rank #3 and #1 respectively for their local keywords; both on the first page of Google. 4️⃣ On the website mindsetnmilestones.com, I completely redesigned their site, combining various creative tools including: Adobe Illustrator, Divi, Wordpress CMS, Lightroom and Photoshop. We've since migrated the site to a faster web host (Siteground) in order to handle her growing traffic (it crashed lol) while improving the site speed.
