Alcority is the service arm of a multi-strategy private investment firm, Dorilton Capital. Our portfolio is diverse and spans many industries including F1 Racing, Quantitative Analytics, Natural Resources, Home Healthcare, and Food Manufacturing. I lead our Insurance Advisory team, assisting our companies in contractual reviews, merger and divesture due diligence, sourcing/managing risk transfer options including our captive, and managing pre- and post-incidents. A few accomplishments in my short time here:- Established team Key Performance Indicators and a tracking system- Created managed services presentations and detailed description visuals- Wrote and executed service level agreements for most of our portfolio- Solidified contract review process and contributed to dozens of changes, reducing risks- Worked in Confluence to create written instructions and how-to direction for team processes- Improved team communication amongst ourselves and our internal customers by driving usage of a team distribution, establishing a recap and closing the loop environment, and encouraging collaboration and a less siloed work culture- Completed a Professional Risk Consultant designation to fill in knowledge gaps around the broker process- Scheduled and encouraged all team members to attend industry conferences and lead direct reports to seek out additional trainings and knowledge sources- Became actively involved in the CPCU Society (board member) and RIMS DFW- Consulted on claims investigations and decisions- Improved leasing contractual requirements and certificate fulfillment process
