Traingle Development Services was created when Mark Four Computer Systems Ltd was acquired by Triangle Computer Services Ltd. John Stabler and myself built the business up between 1997 and 2002 and at the peak we were a £5.5M Turnover business employing 65 people working in a group of nearly 250 people.Due to many reasons which I won't bore you with here the Company hit the buffers and over the next 5 years was managed to its final demise in 2007/8. In 2006 I left the business to create Triangle Information Management Ltd (TIM) in a bid to shed cost from TDS leaving our Hand held PDA business as the sole speciality which was run by my fellow director John Stabler. He later negotiated an MBO and took the business and created 1stTouch which is now a successful business in its own right.

Four Marks, Alton, Hampshire

Mark Four Computer Systems was formed when I met John Stabler whilst contracting at Hogg Robinson Travel in Woking. We were both experienced IBM AS400 developers and shared a common desire to build our own business. Between 1990 and 1997 we built the business to the point when we were acquired by Triangle Computer Services and we formed Triangle Development Services. Early years were difficult as a result of the Kuwait war and the effect it had on the travel industry. However John and I used our developer skills within the Banking industry emerging to build the business by taking on our first employees.The experience has certainly been a great foundation to building my other businesses.

Woking

After leaving Seiko Time I took up a position as a contract AS/400 Analyst @ Hogg Robinson Travel working on their Business Travel Reporting systems and other accounting systems. t was here where i was first introduced to an early version of Cognos PowerPlay which Hogg Robinson used to provide flexible reporting to its business travel clients.

At Diners Club I was involved in the migration of the Credit Card Collection System from the IBM 4300 to the IBM AS/400. I was involved in working with a small team of Mainframe developers bringing my experience of the AS/400 and RPG to the team. My time at Diners Club saw me working in California with the suppliers of CACS who were migrating COBOL code to RPG. This was a successful contract and I became a key members of Diners Clubs team as it moved from Mainframe to AS/400 technologies.

Guildford

I was involved in developing various applications from scratch in RPG, rising from Analyst Programmer to a senior systems analyst before leaving Seiko to follow a career as an independent Contractor.

Chichester

I joined Jackson Associates after leaving Estée Lauder. I worked in the Bureaux development team working on their Honeywell hardware programming in both COBOL and RPG
