• Lead biweekly meetings to manage and deliberate on a budget of over $500,000 to fund programs from hundreds of UCLA organizations• Collect and review data on member attendance and program outcomes, promoting accountability and positive impact• Write annual financial report analyzing historical spending and providing strategic recommendations for future success• This role requires me to synthesize my knowledge from my experiences on UCLA programming funding boards and my experiences leading a UCLA organization to effectively and fairly allocate funding and resources to different student groups. It is necessary to approach requests holistically, utilizing knowledge of the organization's proposed programming, the community(ies) they are serving, and the opportunity cost to other UCLA organizations. It’s also important to be an effective leader, holding everyone accountable to our goals and schedule, and to understand and analyze our effectiveness so I can make strategic changes and recommendations.

• Founded BFS as an environment for all UCLA students to network and develop skills across professions• Directed marketing team, expanded BFS general membership to over 1,000 UCLA students since Spring 2023• Lead a team of 20 officers/associates in planning and hosting 6-7 meetings (each with a guest speaker and workshop) and2-3 socials per quarter, collaborating with other UCLA finance organizations to provide detailed and current information• Supervise weekly updates to "Bruin All-Finance Calendar" with events and applications from over 50 UCLA organizations• Co-founded Pacific Consulting Group as a BFS partner club, and founded Pacific Group as an umbrella organization to oversee both clubs• The role has helped me develop skills in organizing and managing teams, in conceptualizing and communicating broad concepts through public speaking, and in planning and evaluating long-term growth and liability

• Modeled and presented on Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) participation and analyzed trends in a variety of Quality Measures.• Developed advanced Excel Visual Basic for Application (VBA) Macros, to gather and summarize information from over 100 financial reports.• Assessed national metrics on Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) to strategize navigating macroeconomic trends

• Manage a resident hall of over 70 undergraduate students, promoting academic and personal development• Foster community growth by planning and running 3-4 events per quarter and facilitating conflict resolution• Deliver on-call crisis response, monitoring and addressing community needs in weekly on-duty shifts• The role requires strong skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, and time-management, as well as quick and effective decision-making in emergency and conflict-related situations• The role has allowed me to further develop those skills, as well as my ability to quickly and effectively learn and adjust to new situations, environments, and duties.

• Teach weekly piano lessons to students at UCLA and at local elementary and middle schools• Create weekly lesson plans and assign, arrange, and compose practice exercises• This role has helped me develop my skills in organizing and communicating information, and creative approaches to teaching.

• Completed a pro-bono consulting project for the Los Angeles caregiver-education company Canary Health, with guidance of a UCLA professor through the Business of Biology course• Led four-student team in doing in-depth research on 88 companies in the healthcare and caregiving industries• Developed data-based competitive analysis framework in Excel, analyzing 3 criteria on technological sophistication and use• Met weekly with Canary team to make adjustments and give insights on options for future marketing and expansion• This project required skills in data analysis/presentation, organization, leadership, and research, in addition to a technical understanding of Excel• Through the project, I developed an understanding of the caregiving-assistance industry, and practiced my skills in analyzing, communicating, and drawing conclusions based upon data and research.

• Managed Sproul Hall finances, disbursing funding for programming and events for over 1,000 residents• Advocated for Sproul residents at weekly Funding and Advisory Board meetings, allocating funding for 15,000 residents• Planned and ran 3-4 community-building events per quarter in Sproul Hall• This role required skills in organization and problem-solving, as well as effective communication and advocacy regarding decisions impacting large numbers of UCLA students. This role helped me better develop an understanding of decision-making in the context of large groups and populations.
