Primarily responsible for developing new automation for our BIM/CAD software. This includes standards, workflow and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of product. Secondary duties include performing support functions for BIM/CAD programs, Henderson BIM/CAD applications and related processes.Coordinate the development process for new automation for BIM/CAD software, including requirements gathering, programming, testing, deploying, troubleshooting, and gathering feedback from end users. Support BIM/CAD technologies and end users by providing front-line support for Revit,BIM/CAD software, and custom BIM/CAD applications as directed by the BIM Manager. Assists in the maintenance of existing BIM/CAD custom applications and standards. Provides front-line support for printing and plotting from Revit and other BIM/CAD software and assists in the general maintenance of plotters and printers. Assists new and existing employees by familiarizing them with BIM/CAD software, applications, standards, and plotting and printing procedures. Assists the BIM Manager in preparing and conducting BIM/CAD training. Mentors other BIM Specialists. Develops, researches and maintains new design tools, processes, and standards to make our teams more effective and efficient.
