I manage the bid/proposal process from receipt from the customer through submission, negotiation until award of a contract by the customer. My responsibilities include:- Leads the execution of quality proposal delivery for proposals in partnership with business development and sales teams. Proposals developed provide a clear, responsive, persuasive, and compelling proposal to the end customer.- Co-leads proposal kick-off calls and status calls, as well as peer and management reviews.- Reviews proposal specifications to identify unique requirements, prepares for meetings, maintains notes, and ensures roles/responsibilities are communicated.- Develops and disseminates proposal schedules and compliance matrices.- Tracks proposal compliance, evaluates compliance concerns, and escalates non-compliance issues. - Desktop publishes proposals and manages production, adhering to formatting and layout guidelines.- Liaises and produces all printed documentation.- Evaluates and refines process documentation to ensure training and reference materials are well-structured, accurate, and intelligible.- Ensures on-time delivery/submission.

Developed customized, professional-quality pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and client/ prospect presentations for new business pursuits and renewals, working closely with the company’s marketing director, president and senior-level staff. Construction value of projects won totals over $170 million for clients such as the General Services Administration, National Park Service and University of Illinois Chicago. Other tasks include maintaining the company’s CRM database, serving as liaison with subject matter experts across the firm, maintaining and editing marketing collateral, and building and implementing standard operating processes.

I assisted in the day-to-day running of the business’ online and offline marketing initiatives. Primary duties included working with the company's social media profiles to produce, create and edit content. Other non-primary tasks included receiving store clients, making updates to the company's website, and creating/designing of marketing materials such as email signatures, letterheads, business cards, and brochures.

I conducted a directed social media study with my PR Professor, David Kamerer. I collected, evaluated and categorized customer comments provided to Yelp and compared my results with my professor’s.

I mainly took inventory of the company's parts and equipment from their suppliers. I worked with Excel to manage and see which equipment parts were still being made from their suppliers and which ones were not. Additionally, I completed various organization tasks in their offices, such as filing and putting together informational packets for clients.

For my assignments gathered information on and researched Stern's main advertising competitors within Ohio and the surrounding states. The information I gathered on our competitors included their clients, size, and billings. Once I completed my informational spreadsheets in Excel, they were then presented to the agency's account planner.

I gathered information on and researched current trends in social networking use, Internet usage on cell phones, and cell phone usage among young adults. This research was gathered to help pursue a project for Cleveland's University School, which was to create a Facebook page/mobile website for new and incoming students. At the end of my internship I presented my findings to the school's marketing director and staff, as well as to the agency's account strategist.
