Commodore, Navy Recruiting Region East. Directly responsible for over half of the United States Navy Recruiting effort. Provides Navy career opportunities to men and women in the eastern half of the U.S., Europe and the Caribbean. Leads thirteen geographically separated recruiting districts uniquely manned and resourced to maximize their respective recruiting markets.

The purpose of the school’s preparatory training is to introduce International students to the U.S. Navy’s approach to training. Instruction is personalized and is tailored to the individual student. Group and one-on-one tutoring, interactive multimedia, and computer simulation programs are all used to enhance learning. Students are expected to meet Navy standards of excellence and demonstrate proficiency in every stage of training. Specialized course curriculum is also offered. Courses in leadership, manpower management, physical training and readiness and risk management as it relates to anti-terrorism and anti-piracy planning are available to international students.
