- Automation and process owner for PCI quarterly OS/blade patching o Start to finish staging of PCI quarterly patching by data center in less than 15 minutes. This includes an accurate list of servers by region, reporting discrepancy between Active Directory and ServiceNow, change management creation (task details, servers, and schedule), alert suppression, and snapshot of patching group to be applied to collection; all with a few mouse clicks. Process is structured and repeatable. - Part of team to tackle Genesys's OKR #1 global initiative for automated patching via ServiceNow. - Owner of System Center Configuration Manager ("SCCM") solution. o Created foundation for naming standards and process. Resolved outstanding delays in rolling out SCCM. Built operating procedures around SCCM and its infrastructure to support utilizing it for any automated needs. Manual processes were identified and automated (such as blade firmware updates). - Utilized PowerShell scripting to help standardize and automate many tasks across teams.- Co-owner of Symantec Endpoint Protection ("SEP") solution. o Took over control from Security for managing the AV solution. Upgraded to latest build, delivered remediated policies for Security's blessing that became gold documented standard, automated SEP client upgrade during quarterly PCI patching, and resolved communication or client issues. - Author and maintainer of various administrative wikis that are regularly used by teams. o Created wikis involving chassis enclosures, clusters, Compute SoPs, change request templates, personal script documentation, System Center Configuration Manager, Virtual Private Cloud procedures/troubleshooting, vendor case management/ticketing, among others. Overhauled Compute team page with one-push button ServiceNow request template and accurate information. - Administer Windows server roles such as Hyper-V Failover Clustering, Active Directory, DNS, File Servers.
