Being a Front End Developer at Cyber Media Solutions in Stafford for over 11 years has given me the opportunity to develop excellent skills in HTML 5 and CSS/SASS, a proficiency in JavaScript (especially jQuery), and a working knowledge of ColdFusion and PHP through integrations with, and developments for, a range of CMS. Around all this, I’ve worked extensively with the Zurb Foundation responsive framework since 2012, which is now my go-to framework for sites of any size, both in my professional and personal projects. I've also been able to work under both traditional waterfall and Agile methodologies, and have assisted in the running of both in various roles, which I continue in my role as team scrum master.I'm passionate about writing good, concise, robust code; a strong believer that accessibility is key on the web, and that it’s our responsibility as developers to design and implement our vision accordingly. Over the last few years, my focus on delivering accessible websites has only increased.Outside of my professional work, I have continued to work on websites including creating a couple of wedding websites in the last few years, including my own.When away from the web, I’m a keen listener of music and gig-goer. I also still live under the misguided belief that one day my own musical abilities will kick-in, despite not finding as much time to pick up a guitar these days.For my sins, I’m a season-ticket holder at Wolverhampton Wanderers, and have been an active member of the club Fan’s Parliament since the beginning of the 2016/17 season. My own football skills are better left unmentioned.I enjoy travelling and visiting new places with my wife, and have been lucky enough to journey to New York, Boston, Berlin and many more over the past few years.
