An adaptable and highly motivated individual currently working as a full stack software developer. I like to make sure that the code I write is to the best standard and follows all the best practices and procedures in place to ensure the code base is kept clean and maintainable. I wouldn't want to inherit bad code and therefore I do my best to make sure I don't introduce any for anyone else within the team.Alongside writing code I like to explore, implement and maintain tooling that helps to streamline the SDLC. I have experience with Octopus Deploy, TeamCity and the Atlassian suite such as Bitbucket, Bamboo and Jira. I am keen to get into the world of containerisation using docker and K8s or similar.In the last few months I have taken on extra responsibility with the implementation of a Support Development function. This has involved on-boarding new starters, managing their workload based on priorities and assisting when required with domain knowledge or general development experience. This has involved utilising strong people and time management skills.Whilst completing my degree I balanced my time between studying, work, police training and my home life helping me to develop great time management. I have a practical approach to problem solving and a clear, logical mind with the motivation to see things through until completion. I am reliable, trustworthy, hard working and eager to learn and develop my skills further.Some of the technologies I currently use are C#, .NET 4.8 through to 8, SSMS/T-SQL. I also have experience with other technologies I don't use as often in my role currently such as Blazor, Angular, VB.NET, SSRS and VueJs.
