What an experience these last 6 years have been, and we're not taking our foot off the accelerator! Continuing growth throughout London, the South East and Nationally has meant that many more contractors have benefited from our support - and we've seen their businesses grow! Our team continues to grow and mature, with a focus on customer delight, far beyond expectations.

Chichester

We headed off to the South Coast, and started boldly again – simply doing what we do best! Foremost came into being as a regional janitorial business, based in Chichester. We continued the story of value, service and growth. We took a career-defining step in 1979 – to sell our contract cleaning business, and focus on delivering value and excellence to our janitorial customers – by now a mix of cleaning trade and other users, locally and nationally. Based in North West London, we developed this business for 15 years, until we sold it in 1994-95 - in separate local and national divisions, to ensure continuity for our loyal and longstanding customers.

Wembley

By 1975, the time was right to move forward from employment to establishing our own business. We bravely chose a totally different market sector, and Carlton Cleaning Contractors was born. We quickly gained experience, and business, in window, floor, and office cleaning – and it wasn’t long until we developed a janitorial division.

Feltham

Here was a sniff of Global business at the UK office of GTE – the only ‘across the board’ competitor to IBM at the time. Communication with consultants in the States and Sweden could be by phone - but more often by Telex, a machine that used punched tape and had moved on slightly from World War II code-breakers.

The computer business was in its infancy, and I learned software and teamwork at County Hall - and my way around London.
