Worked with senior engineers as part of the protection and control design team working on hydro−electric dam protection systems. Designed a PLC based monitoring system that will be implemented throughout various BC Hydro facilities to monitor the breakage of shear pins in generator turbines. Worked with schematics, wiring diagrams and component data sheets. Communicated with vendors to procure material for various projects, which involved raising purchase orders as needed. Used spreadsheets to keep track of equipment and orders. Assembled and tested electrical components.
