I started my work experience with a few entry level retail and material handling jobs where I was given multiple functions due to my aptitude and team oriented mindset. I developed a great rapport with customers using social perceptiveness and found the ability to adapt to fast paced environments. I started at a cell culture media manufacturing company as a formulation tech. Using team skills and hard work I was promoted to team lead where I excelled in process investigation, problem solving and developing more independent employees. I have decided to make a career change. I have always been an enthusiast of technology and computers. For family and friends, I have been the go-to person to troubleshoot issues on personal computers for years. When first discovering Centriq's TechSmart KC program I instantly became excited because of the vast opportunities that it provides to willing students. The TechSmart program included hands on training for CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CCNET, and MTA certifications. The training program taught me technical, team and professional skills that will further develop myself as a dependable employee and team member in the near future. My lifelong development as a dependable worker will make me a great addition to any team. I started my IT career at Joe's datacenter from March 2016 to October 2016. I was fortunate that Joe and his team taught me the foundational skills in the datacenter industry. After leaving Joe's datacenter I found my way to Fullcontrol Network where I am expanding my knowledge with hands on technical support of systems and services. In October 2017 I started working for Kansas City Kansas public library as an IT specialist. I look forward to working with the IT team and use my gained skills and knowledge to improve the organization. In July 2020 I accepted the senior IT role at KCKPL.
