As a Senior Environmental Scientist I work on a range of environmental and natural resource projects. Recent projects include:-Project Manager for a forest hawk survey in the Black Hills National Forest. Efforts involved using birds call to bring in and identify forest hawks. In addition involved updates to vegetation and habitat maps, identify and document raptor nests, identify and document other species of interest and habitats of interest. -Identify abandoned mine in the Forest Service Region 1 that were associated with Tronox Inc. Efforts involved using a wide range of available digital, geospatial, and hard copy information to research all the abandoned mine in Region 1 then determining which are potential associated with Tronox.

Support the DOE Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy (EERE) Environmental Oversight Office (EOO) in all environmental matters. Assist with providing environmental oversight of National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) by compiling environmental information and conduct various types of environmental analyses and permitting and reporting actions. Assist with evaluation of environmental consultation strategies, regulatory compliance analyses of new environmental regulations and the impact.
