As the Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture at Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, I help identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies that have the potential to drive business value and execute a forward-thinking IT architecture strategy that incorporates emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other advanced technologies.Key Responsibilities include:Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute the enterprise architecture strategy for the Enterprise Wireless Business that is aligned with the Ericsson business goals and objectives.Enterprise Architecture - Oversee development and maintenance of the enterprise architecture framework, ensure alignment with industry best practices and adherence to standards.Team Leadership - Build and lead a high performing team of architects, compliance experts, that focus on our desired state of "Image Possible"Business engagement - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify impact opportunities to drive efficiencies and value.

I lead the enterprise and strategic effort for Cradlepoint's journey and expansion of its business to Ericsson's Enterprise Wireless Solutions. Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (formerly Cradlepoint) offers a broad portfolio of wireless technologies combining a focus on Secure Private Cellular Networks and Wireless WAN enabled by SDN/SASE/ZTNA technologies for the Enterprise. Offering services like SD-WAN, 5G slicing, ZTNA and VPN solutions powered by Netcloud, we are building on the growth of Cradlepoint's wireless Edge Networking success as the adoption of 5G increases. Reporting to the CIO, and the first Enterprise Architecture hire at the company, I helped build the EA practice from the ground up. Responsible for aligning technology systems, infrastructure, and applications with our business goals and objectives. I led the organization in strategic cross-business transformational efforts by advocating pragmatic architectural and governance oversights, including Change Management, and Disaster Recovery Programs.I led the company’s IT and Security Architecture Review Board (ITSAC) and Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE) establishing the target architecture and automation goals for compliance-based programs company-wide. Collaborate and lead a cross-functional stakeholders forum, called Solution Fit, to identify key functional requirements, challenges and opportunities to simplify the portfolio while supporting a composable enterprise architecture artifacts of future state capabilities.

I champion this effort with cybersecurity in mind as it pertains people, process and technologies as global enterprise adopt these transformative technologies.I also work with AT&T’s labs and product managers utilizing some of the best innovators and technologist in the industry. We work with these groups to make significant impact to future product technologies and business strategies.

Morrill & Janes Bank and Trust Company (MJBTRC) is a multi-state Midwest financial institution offering a full portfolio of financial products. Hired to address aging technology, and position the bank for substantial business growth with on-line services. Duties included department management, technology vision, enterprise architecture, and help with critical system mergers and acquisitions. Major accomplishments during my tenor were; design and implementation of dedicated highly available networked datacenters with enhanced VOIP capabilities to each branch. Architected enhanced network monitoring and system logging systems (SIEM) with improved notification, raising the commitment and visibility level of IT. Increased uptime and system availability by utilizing virtualization technology, Vmware consolidated aging servers and enhance disaster recovery posture. Utilizing cloud computing with Virtual Desktops (VDI) technology helped increase security, and remote capabilities. Secured mobile applications and on-line bill payment solutions using multi-factor authentication solutions. Security minded focus extensively on increasing security protection systems including IDS, firewall and penetration testing and application testing and SOC Management. Developed mobile standards for BYOD and a secured remote work force.Technical department vision management with experience in several technologies including: Microsoft Windows 2003-2010 AD in a multi-site organization, Exchange, iSCSI SAN, Data-deduplication, VMware, Linux, CISCO routers, switches, firewalls, SQL Servers, Terminal Services, and other technology in a complex multisite datacenter. Worked to create technical policies and procedures for help desk, change control and patch management including a formal DR plan with BCP. Work with team to set the strategic plan for the bank including risk management and governance.

One of four founding partners, Ncisive was created to help organizations achieve software licensing savings by utilizing Linux and Open Source software. Ncisive created a turn-key consulting solution to help organizations achieve this freedom and offered early cloud solutions (Software as a Service), in early 2005. Ncisive offered alternative software solutions including Kerio Mail, GoGlobal and 2X thin client solutions. As a principal owner in the company, my responsibility was product creation, packaging, and business development. My daily involvement was two-fold, primarily technology / product development, secondary was business management. Business management responsibilities include delivery oversight, business P&L responsibility, internal technology, and other duties in running a small entrepreneur business.

Results Technology is a privately held technical solution provider headquartered in Lenexa Kansas. At the time, Results Technology was a 40+ million dollar mid-west regional company with offices in Lenexa, Topeka, Wichita, Omaha, and St. Louis. As an officer in the company, I was responsible for the creation and delivery of all services Results Technology offered and client satisfaction.I reported to the CEO/President and assisted in all critical business making decisions including sales, marketing, finance and operations. During my first quarter I helped grow service revenue by nearly 45% and implemented a forecasting and time tracking procedure geared to boost growth. Year-end revenues for the technical services departments increased nearly 600% since my inception. This service growth grew from .05% to 25% in three years of the total profit of the company and was instrumental in creating and managing IT solutions for companies like Sprint, Sprint PCS, BPU, Aquila, Shawnee Public School, and many more. As an officer in the organization my duties often entailed selling, marketing, and leading the company both internally and externally to ensure its success. This included managing vendor relationships, executive sponsorship of partnerships, acting CIO for strategic planning, policy development, and execution of the company goals.

Inacom was a Fortune 500 technology company hosting a worldwide presence in all major cities. The Professional Services division at Inacom accounted for nearly 51% of the company’s total net earnings in 1998. These earnings were gained from an aggressive growth rate of nearly 41% from 1997 to 1998. As a senior member of this organization my duties entail helping to manage, direct and guide the Overland Park department's activities to achieve its financial and objective goals. Departmental duties include daily managerial tasks, budgeting, departmental growth planning, profit and loss analysis and other tasks pertaining to directing a consulting department. Activities also include meeting with clients in a pre and post sale environment to provide technical networking expertise, team management, and general project management services. Helped grow service revenue and earnings before taxes (EBT) by 200% during my tenure. Exceeded company stated goals by nearly 80%.
