Look below at the titles of my previous roles, and you might conclude that I specialize in Regulatory Operations or Technical Communications. But I don't think of myself that way. Instead, I consider myself an experienced Information Manager with a robust set of problem-solving and project management tools—tools I've honed through a technical education, MBA, and years of leadership experience within and across functions. Over that time, I've found that I add the most value in roles that require broad knowledge, a variety of skills, and cross-functional collaboration. If you're still reading, I'll provide some more details on my career history. I have proven successful at directing functional operations, managing and analyzing critical company data, and continuously improving the efficiency of business practices. Most recently, I served as Senior Regulatory Operations Manager in Medtronic's $2B Aortic, Peripheral, and Venous business. In this capacity, I led the successful integration and expansion of Reg Ops teams from Medtronic and the former Covidien. Under my leadership, this merged team developed into one of the highest performing of its kind within the enterprise. Prior to this operational role with Regulatory, I directed a group of technical communications and graphic design specialists in the development, translation, publication, and distribution of Instructions For Product Use, as well as other external and internal communications. Many of these publications detailed how to safely and effectively navigate specialized instruments inside the human brain or spine during complex surgeries. In my early career, I gained experience in Clinical Applications, product installations and training, and Technical Marketing.
