Section commander responsible for the coaching and mentoring of 40 trainees through their journey from civilian to soldier responsibilities included:• coordination, planning and implementing of training.• Coaching, mentoring and nurturing of all trainees promoting an inclusive environment.• Aligned targeted functions against desired training outcomes, developed systems for maximising successful training that supported strategic plans.• Consistently led by example, encouraging self-management, strategicthought/ problem solving, leadership, professional development and a cohesive working environment with highly effective teams in line with the platoon ethos.

Power Engineer- Led and managed operational engineering teams across worldwide sites while commissioning, installing and maintaining large scale temporary power to support communication infrastructure for multi-national military organisations, delivering essential power successfully facilitating exercise training for 1500+ people. Took on the role of Troop Corporal responsible for the administration of 30 junior soldiers.Regularly supported the Regimental Training Wing in all military training exercises and acted as Directing Staff on a promotional course for Junior Soldiers to achieve promotion.

2007-2010. Junior Power Engineer responsible for the installation and maintenance of temporary power installations. Deployed on Operations to Afghanistan.2010-2013. Sole Power Engineer in a Royal Signals Infantry Support Team, advising the unit on all power related issues. Deployed on Operations in Afghanistan as a part of a small communications team supporting an Infantry company of 150 soldiers with communications equipment and wrap-around communications support.2013-2014. Deputy Transport Manager- responsible for the management of a reserve unit’s fleet of 200 vehicles (Green and civilian) spread over 300 miles.
