    I founded, teach, and own all aspects of this monthly, donation-based self-defense class by and for members of the queer community. Our mission is to empower LGBTQIA2S+ people to feel safer with our classes directly serving 150+ queer New Yorkers, and to support queer community by donating all monthly class proceeds to 19 queer charitable organizations and counting. I oversee donation collection, distribution, and tracking, and donor stewardship; I manage the budget, including bookkeeping and accounting; and I coordinate outreach, marketing, and logistics, including social media and driving partnerships with nonprofit organizations such as LGBT Network Center, Astoria Trans Collective; and The Rolling Library.
