As the owner of Snacking in Sneakers, I create fitness, nutrition, and recipe content for the blog and social media platforms. The blog reaches more than 80,000 people each month, mainly women between the ages of 25-45 - especially runners, triathletes, and fit moms. It's for the woman who wants to train for her first - or fortieth - road race, but doesn't want to give up her occasional favorite chocolate chip cookie to do so.In addition to standard content creation, I also work with brands on sponsored blog and social media content. In addition, I freelance with brands for SEO-optimized writing services, recipe development, and nutrition communications consulting.

Member of the curated, invitation-only Influencer Advisory Board at Mavrck, an advanced influencer marketing platform for the enterprise brand. Members provide direct software feedback to Mavrck’s product organization, participate in brand-sponsored focus groups, engage directly with social network product development and contribute to press opportunities via insights and strategy.

As an adjunct professor in the Hospitality and Recreation Department, I taught a dynamic "Nutrition for Food Service Professionals" course. This included designing lesson plans and lectures, and maintaining a web-enhanced classroom. To replicate real world experiences, I included kitchen lab activities and site visits for the students.

For five years, I ran Inspired Wellness Solutions, a corporate wellness company providing programming for companies throughout the Commonwealth. We offered services including wellness seminars, health coaching and on-site fitness programming. These services led to marked improvements in employee wellness from weight loss to increased minutes of physical activity. Our customers were consistently satisfied with our services.
