Took care of up to 10 residents at a time, in a residential facility, The residents ranged in ages of 11 - 18. For 3 years we were in the girls cottage. For a year and half we were in the boys cottage. We made sure they had their basic needs like their meals. We work with the 4 - H program and helped them to raise pigs, lambs and goats. As residential advisors, we made sure they completed their chores and watched over their daily activities.

As the Store Promotional Coordinator (SPC), I planned monthly Babyfest's where I would bring in different venders that supported parents with new babies. The venders would set up in the store and the new parents and/or the parents to be could check out the different venders and see what they had to offer. Each Babyfest had a theme. An example of a theme was Safety month. I would get venders specialized in child proofing your home. I would get local police/fireman to come do car seat safety. I would do product demonstrations twice a month where I would travel to local hospitals and doctor offices and demo products from Babies R Us. I also assisted parents to be with registering their babies for baby showers. Babies R Us did not advertise much, it was the SPC's job to promote the store by going into the community and bring the community into the store via Babyfest.
