🎓 As a current undergraduate science student, my interests revolve around cell biology and its associated processes. Recently, I’ve found an appreciation for the botany side of biology due to my time working as an undergraduate research assistant which led me to choose to pursue a combined major in biology and oceanography!👩🏾‍⚕️ Future aspirations center around medical school with a dermatology specialization in the maintenance of skin and treatment of infectious diseases (and maybe researching the benefits of algae on the skin ☺️). My goal is to help increase diversity in healthcare and tackle the struggles of the representation of different skin types in medical analysis. 🤓 However, I’ve taken the time to explore different sects of science, and I’m open to where they might take me! Recently, R&D within the biomedical sciences sector has caught my interest, and I'm looking into that industry as a potential post-graduate opportunity.🎉 I am passionate about biology and skincare (😁), and I am always open to talking and connecting about anything related to these topics!
