About Christa Bruce, Mph

I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of others – initially through work with underserved communities and then transitioning into healthcare to improve the patient experience and to enable providers to bring best practices and predictions into everyday care.I worked with talented technical teams to develop apps for providers and patients that brought all the information they needed right to their fingertips, that quickly evolved with their needs, and that were easy to integrate into their already busy lives. And we always ran into walls! We had no problem imagining how to use the growing volume of available data, but we continually ran into the all-too common challenges with accessing those data in real-time. Clunky processes for mapping from requirements to the data we needed, long lines for accessing the data the first time and each time our needs evolved, and (unhappy) surprises when data changes broke our apps. The result was blown timelines and budgets, apps that evolved too slowly for easy adoption, delayed outcomes – and lots of frustration!That is why my talented colleagues and I founded Medcurio.
