Chris is part of Government Infrastructure Group (GIG) which develops centralised ICT Infra for the Whole-of-Government (WOG). Being part of the IDentity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) team in WOG Operations, he is task to develop identity blueprint for WOG and working with product principals to validate the design. Chris also contributes as technical subject matter expert supporting application integration, platforms deployment and operations in government agencies, member of a Technical Architecture Forum to review new implementation such as architectural design and WOG Change Advisory Board to review changes in the production environment to ensure the impact and stability is maintained.Chris constantly explore new initiatives and propose new ideas to the stakeholders for platform technology best practices and products, conduct brown bag to share on new technologies to agencies and keeping abreast of ICT technologies, skill-sets and industry practices, for effective fulfilment of the above responsibilities.

Operations Manager: • Responsible for managing Standard Operating Environment (SOE); Service Delivery in Enterprise Technology, Core Infrastructure Operations and Service Provider Management pertaining to the following:- Active Directory - Domain Name Service- Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol- Rights Management System- Identity Life-Cycle Management- Public Key Infrastructure- MS Key Management Service- Platforms (Windows/Unix/Virtualization)- Ancillary Services (Backup/Storage)- Middleware (Web/Database/Applications)• Review change request and is part of the change advisory board member.• Took part in various Workplace of Future projects.• Lead and contribute in the architecting, designing and evaluation of platform technologies (such as server, middleware, database and storage technologies) in order to support the conceptualisation, development, build up, maintenance and enhancement of the service-wide infrastructure in the public service.• Lead in technology explorations, conduct of technology trials and evaluation of innovative platform technologies• • Support IT infrastructure owners and stakeholders in technical evaluation and proposal review as part of stakeholder engagement and management.• Contribute as technical subject matter expert supporting platform deployment and operations in government agencies. • Involved in technical consultancy related project work to both internal and external entities.• Conduct and/or support the review of policies and standards for service-wide platform technologies in government. • Conduct research and write-up of research papers for platform technology best practices and products. • Keep abreast of ICT technologies, skill-sets and industry practices, for effective fulfilment of the above responsibilities.

• Leading a team of System Engineers• Perform the system administration tasks and technical support of servers and operating system platforms for Window servers. • Install, customize and maintain the systems software such as housekeeping of servers, user account management and ensuring the systems is kept virus-free. • Support all installation activities with complete documentation • Perform the OS tightening adhering to defined procedure and checklist. Maintain the operating system in such a way that it is secure against unauthorized access. • Deploy and deliver the project deliverables as stated in the project scopes extracted from the proposal/contract. • Update the Service Delivery Manager on the project progress and status. • Ensure change impact is evaluated, contingency plan and test plans are created to support the change request. • Build, configure, and rollout new releases through Release Management Process on system components that affect operations. Organize training for new releases where necessary. • Identify, isolate, resolve, escalate and close problem ticket according to ITSM Incident Management Process. • Ensure backup and recovery of system components is carried out, so that critical services can continue in the event of a disaster. • Work with principal hardware or software vendors to resolve problems and implement new technologies.

Facilitating E-Learning in Schools.Meeting up with teachers and HoDs for e-learning implementation Suggest solutions to sit within their Strategic Planning of IT Planning.Assisting in the implementation of e-learning day to promote e-learning integration within the school.Setting up Server to allowing the running of Open Source and Linux Systems and maintenance of School Servers (Library Server - Destiny Software).Creation of E-Learning Portal Contents (LEAD LMS), a Database for implementing in School using MYSQL and Access, a Forum and Photo using Open Source Software (PHP) and E-mail software (Mail Enable).Managing and maintaining the WIFI system, responding to all IT related problems in the school and implementing solutions as required.
