Planned, customized, created, and delivered curriculum sessions to 38 corps members (new teachers) to ensure they internalized key knowledge, skills, and mindsets in their beginning training phases as a teacher∙ Delivered over 150 hours of curriculum sessions over the course of 5-weeks that led to an average of 2 years of reading and math growth for 3rd, 6th and 8th grade students at Lavizzo Elementary School (Chicago Public Schools)∙ Facilitated whole-group and differentiated small-group opportunities for corps members to practice teaching skills and discuss the application of these skills∙ Modeled effective teaching for corps members through delivery of strong sessions∙ Facilitated diversity sessions and discussions twice a week over the course of the 5 week Institute∙ Collaborated with members of the school team to make data-driven decisions on how to best meet corps member needs∙ Developed strong relationships with 38 corps members which resulted in a 100% satisfaction rate regarding the impact that their Curriculum Specialist had on their growth during the training Institute
