Authored curriculum and facilitated interactive workshops to train musicians and community leaders to effect nonviolent change in their local communities. I've assisted MwB in integrating the principles and methodologies of peace education into the Musician's without Borders' musical training programs. I was Assistant Trainer of 'Soy Musica' MwB's project in El Salvador which is a collaboration between MwB, UNICEF and the Ministry of Education of El Salvador.

Designed engaging professional development experiences for K-12 teachers and counselors that1) fully expressed the museum's mission and values and 2) met the most pressing needs of educational and youth-serving professionals. Led the effort to align museum core educational content and pedagogy across program areas. Contributed to the writing and editing of the Young Heroes Outreach Program's project-based liberty curriculum for 5th-8th graders. Was a core member of the YHOP evaluation team, that was in charge of designing and implementing a quasi-experimental design study to measure the outcomes of museum tours and the YHOP program within the greater Philadelphia area. Presented with a museum colleague on "Student Voice" at the national Character Education Partnership conference. I've additionally hosted workshops at The Rubin Museum (NYC), the Carlos Museum (Atl), and for the Making Peace traveling exhibition when it opened in Toronto, CA.

Trained and supervised program staff to deliver bullying prevention and peer mediation programming in dozens of schools. Developed curriculum, facilitated, and supervised a program for youth offenders. Delivered violence prevention, LGBTQIA and diversity awareness, and peace education consulting and intervention services to schools and youth-serving organizations. Served thousands of children and adults, including survivors of domestic violence, poverty, and homelessness. Managed program budget and grants, worked with the board to identity new community partnerships and contributed to the strategic planning process.

Reduced suspensions for in-school fighting by 50%, in 9-month time frame. Counseled high school students experiencing conflict, bullying, threats, harassment, and other interpersonal challenges. Responded to emergency situations and worked collaboratively with the principal, deans, school police officer, counseling team, teacher, school staff and parents. Managed a case load of students receiving accommodations under Section 504 and ensured access to school-based supports. Led Safe Space initiative for LGBTQIA+ students.

Led religious education programming for 125 school-age children and 250 adults, focusing on interfaith understanding, personal values clarification, social justice principles and community engagement. Trained and supervised teachers. Responded to immediate needs after 9/11, co-organizing dialogue projects and interfaith dinners to foster healing and reduce community hate crimes.

Directed youth and family programming, including Adventure Guides (parent-child camping and Project Adventure), Rainbows (for children experiencing grief), summer camp, before-and-after school care, and Family Nights. Trained and hired staff and volunteers to deliver programming. Managed the budget and state compliance requirements. Ensured access to children with disabilities. Active member of the interfaith spirit council which brought together local faith leaders to collaborate on community programming that addressed community well-being and the "spirit" element in the Y's mind-body-spirit mission.

Hired, trained and supervised staff of the accredited before and after-school programs at 7 schools in the West Shore area. Directed and led operations of the summer day camp program for about 300 children. Previous to this role, I was Adventure Program Director at Camp Mason's summer program, for campers ages 7-13; Senior Trip Leader with Longacre Expeditions summer program for adolescents; Adventure Camp Program Instructor at Bradford Woods Outdoor Education Center for multi-ages of campers with varying abilities; and Nature Camp Assistant Director at Schooley's Mountain Camp Program. Later, I also directed the Family Camp summer programs at two Buddhist centers in NY and MN.
