With over fifteen years of experience as a design engineer for major engineering firms, I have been involved as a project manager and engineer in all phases of design and construction and have played a major role in the design of a wide range of projects. My experience includes a variety of concrete building framing systems ranging from cast-in-place, composite precast, and post-tension, as well as structural wood and steel framing. As a motivated and proactive engineer, I am responsive and work integrally with architects, contractors, and clients alike. I excel at engineering challenges and understanding the architectural, economic and constructability issues presented. In addition to design work, I have provided forensic engineering services for a variety of structural systems for which physical and analytical examinations of the existing structures were conducted. Several of these investigations developed into legal cases for which I provided expert witness services on behalf of the respective client. In addition to my design experience, I have served as an adjunct professor at the City College of New York Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture since the fall of 2013. The teaching subject matter is a series of three structures courses consisting of Elementary Structural Analysis, the Design of Timber and Masonry Structures and the Design of Concrete and Steel Structures. I have found my academia experience rewarding thus far and thoroughly enjoy sharing my years of experience and knowledge.
