Senior of a team of two system engineers (including myself) and an apprentice.The team is responsible for:- The companies ERP product at about 20 customers sites- 1-5 Oracle databases for each for those customers- The local network infrastructure- The local clients (35 Windows 8.1 PCs)- The local server infrastructure (3 VMWare ESX Hosts hosting 50 VMs as well as a few physical servers)- The email infrastructure (Exchange Online)- The local VoIP solution (SwyxWare)- The local Active Directory (2012 R2)- The Citrix XenApp Infrastructure for internal use and for two clients.- Various other server systems (Microsoft Sharepoint Server, Microsoft Team Foundation, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SQL Server)I emigrated to Ireland in September 2012 and am still performing these tasks by remote from my home office for Infosystem AG, flying over to the mainland a few times a year for face to face meetings.

Planning, developing and maintaining applications using Visual Basic 6 and later VB.Net as well as SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle). Strong emphasis on the PL/SQL part for server side worker jobs.Developed many interfaces using different methodes, from simple CSV file interfaces to interfaces running completely in PL/SQL interacting with FTP Servers.Responsible for supporting customers applications by mail and phone.Developed the companies very first .Net application in 2005.Involved in developing the VB6 library and in building the VB.Net framework (the latter one from scratch), with an emphasis on GUI parts.
