Christian Moore is a senior student at Point Park University, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management. With a focus in live entertainment and music, Christian ultimately plans to enter the world of venue management or concert promotion/marketing, emphasizing a particular interest in the “do-it-yourself” attitudes associated with independent brands. To bolster his understanding of these industries, he is making active efforts to acquire hands-on experience and practical knowledge through two simultaneous marketing internships, a virtual shadowing experience with a premiere concert venue's G.M., and active participation as Vice President within Point Park's SAEM Club. Separate from his academic life, Christian works as a manager at Abruzzi Italian Cucina in Irwin, Pennsylvania. After nearly 6 years there, this recent promotion sees him responsible for weekly scheduling for a team of 8-15 people and direct leadership of that team—responsibilities that have shaped much of his understanding of conflict resolution, problem solving, concise communication, and stellar customer service. Christian eventually plans to combine this budding management experience with his passion for music and performance into a career leading teams of fellow musicians and music-lovers. Despite juggling all of these responsibilities, Christian continues to prove himself a dependable leader and devoted 4.0 student, making him an excellent choice for consideration for any entry-level music industry positions.
