At Headwaters, I was initially hired as a security consultant to develop, staff, and maintain a new security department. I was quickly given additional responsibilities in facilities management, in which I reorganized and restructured the department to accomplish maintenance and facilities-related tasks across multiple locations. Among those things, I also project managed, developed, and trained employees on emergency procedures, and oversaw supply management.• Developed security plans and oversaw installation of security systems at new developments• Manageed and consulted with contractors, architects, and vendors for construction, compliance, and maintenance needs• Organized and planned maintenance of critical infrastructure, including building essentials (HVAC, Electrical, Generators, etc.), industrial vehicles, industry-specific equipment, and others• Managed security badge issuance and facility access• Performed budgeting and procurement for construction and facility development projects, as well as department needs• Overseaw waste management and hazardous material disposal• Worked with city, county, and state officials for business licensing, compliance, and emergency communication• Managed vendor, maintenance, and construction contracts• Collaborated with multiple departments to plan facility maintenance, events, and training, implement policy changes and procedures dealing with safety, security, and operational needs, and to accomplish company goals• Developed and implemented an automated inventory process utilizing Google Sheets to monitor and track procurement seamlessly needs across 4+ facilities• Led or was directly involved in several 6-to-7-figure facility developments or construction projects
