About Christian Smith

After completing flight school at the University of North Dakota, I started my first business that stemmed from the aerospace industry - we built drones and other robotic systems to complete hazardous, confined space inspections. I learned a lot about global sales, how to set up and manage distributors, and most importantly how to take care of customers. Since exiting the business in 2022, I had the opportunity to start our second business GBS Tech. Working alongside a 40+ year veteran of the thermoplastic & composites industry, together we have created TherMight Technology - a new class of composite material. TherMight is not a single product, but rather a new type of material that can be used in countless products. GBS Tech is delivering on a number of commercial programs and also successfully completed a Kickstarter campaign in 2023.
