Denton and Denton Environmental (D&D) was a small but well-respected consulting company which contracts with U.S. federal land management agencies to lead interdisciplinary teams writing environmental analyses in conformance with the National Environmental Policy Act. - Managed all aspects of business creation, including strategic planning and financial operations. - Successfully procured three federal Indefinite Duration Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts and two Bulk Purchase Agreement (BPA) contracts. Responded to task orders with detailed development or work plans, showcasing the expertise and capability of the company. - Managed all aspects of D&D's federal agency contracts and ensured compliance with relevant laws and policies. - Established a reputation for delivering quality work promptly.

This NEPA analysis addresses the removal of an aging high-hazard dam in Northwest Oregon. - Trained and led a twelve-person interdisciplinary team of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) natural resource specialists including engineers, biologists, botanists, and others to create an extensive issue-based analysis to address the potential environmental impacts of removing (or maintaining) the failing dam at Hult Reservoir.- Wrote several sections of the analysis including the cost section and the human hazard section.- Worked extensively with all levels of BLM management; cooperating agencies including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, State agencies, and local Tribes; and the public on project goals and potential impacts. (E.g., drafted memorandums of understandings, held regular meetings and presentations, and sought review of the draft analysis).

Worked with BLM Oregon State Office staff, district management, and natural resource specialists to produce analyses updating weed management plans on all BLM districts in Oregon and pest management plans on the two BLM seed orchards. This included training and leading nine district teams and one state office team of 8 to 12 BLM specialists to create ten environmental analyses to address the effects of these invasive plant management and pest management plans. In addition:- Summarized herbicide and pesticide effects from 40 risk assessments and trained specialists in understanding these assessments so that they could address effects. Wrote a risk assessment about gibberellic acid.- Used MS Access (and SQL) to create and maintain complete and searchable project databases that detailed all aspects of the plan (the administrative / project record).

- Directed the Laptop Ensemble courses for the PSU's music department's Sonic Arts and Music Production area. Designed lesson plans, conducted teaching sessions, and wrote music while scripting music applications for a class of 20 to 30 students. Facilitated student learning and creativity in music production and performance.- Led ensemble performances at various events, including the 20th Annual Simon Benson Awards Dinner (October 2019); performances at KEX Hotel (November 2019 and March 2020); and live streamed performance hosted by Holocene (May 2020). Oversaw rehearsals, coordinated logistics, and ensured successful execution of performances. Provided students with valuable performance opportunities and enhanced the reputation of the ensemble.- Successfully transitioned the course to online instruction via Zoom from March 2020 to January 2022. Adapted teaching methods and materials for online delivery, maintaining engagement and educational quality. Enabled continued learning and collaboration despite challenges posed by the pandemic.- Led collaborations with the film department to create live scores for movies and with the geography department to create sound maps of Portland.

Duties included authoring several sections of the document and editing the entire 1,100 page document, training natural resource specialists and managing data. Worked in Sri Lanka for Médecins du Monde (Doctors of the World), a French non-governmental organization to implement an emergency medical relief program following the December 2004 tsunami. - Helped plan and initiate the restoration of a 40-bed regional hospital including responsibility for oversight of purchasing and bidding and helping with project planning. - Responsible for all aspects of administration, including creation of all administrative procedures and documents; human resources, including hiring, contracts, salaries, and supervision of 18 national staff; financial oversight, including all accounting and budgeting; and communication with local government and project partners, regional NGOs, and Médecins du Monde headquarters in France.

Organized musicians, composers, staff, and volunteers. Coordinated donors, board members, the press, and the arts community. Managed and coordinated festival logistics and all ticketing. Researched and reviewed music submissions.- Wrote official correspondence and documentation and designed posters, brochures, flyers, websites, etc. for events.- Responsible for audio archives, including 10,000 reel-to-reel tapes and CDs. Wrote and administered an online database in MySQL and PHP of these audio archives, and created a web radio station (http://www.radiOM.org) that plays the archives to a worldwide audience.
